Phase 3 COMPLETE & goal ACHIEVED

The past three days (Phase 3) have been a continuation of the 500 calorie per day diet with no fat, carbs. sugars, taste, joy, happiness...oops...I mean, with restrictions! BUT, the results have been amazing. Day 38 I definitely pigged out a bit...I felt stuffed after both meals...and the weight gain was impressive: 1.5lbs. Well, with tear in eye, the motivation with also impressive to not be so weak! AND, the next two days saw 3.5lbs in weight loss!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, I was also a bit blocked up on day 38, but by day 39, the pipes were flowing like the Amazon Delta! Peeps, I reached my freakin' goal of ...

... 35lbs in weight loss!

I have to admit that I also caved in last night! After having to collect Jacquie on some random street corner about 9 o'clock last night after finally leaving work after a very long day (including completing a worker's comp audit...fun), we had to go collect her car from a towing yard! Yep, Jacque's was not a happy girl!!! And Kaluha chocolate was her saviour!!!! Pinot Grigio, my long lost friend, was my saviour!!!! After two small glasses, I was trashed!!!! People, cheap date here...get it whilst you can! I would have thought the Pinot would have added poundage, although my food calorie intake yesterday was very low (salad for dinner, and cabbage for lunch...woohoo).

Another amazing thing happened yesterday...vacation booked, baby!!! And a huge thanks to Hutchie for organizing the whole thing: Aboard the Connie from Amsterdam to Copenhagen to Berlin to Estonia to St. Petersburg to Helsinki to Stockholm and back to Amsterdam, with of course a quickie in London for a few days! Sorry Bryan, leaving in 10 days for a couple of weeks...try not to burn the gym down (although...heehee)! Now, the tricky-dickie part of this is to make sure my ass goes to the gym everyday while aboard, not to overeat, certainly not to over-drink, and to relax!!!! And, the weight should be steady!

Phase 4 starts today...no sugars or carbs for three more weeks!!!!! And for the record, I'm considering wine a fruit, not a sugar...sorta!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-38-40-phase-3-complete-goal.html' title='DAY 38-40 ... Phase Two COMPLETE!

Well, the 5-week, Phase Two part of the diet is now complete! I didn't quite reach my goal, but still lost a whopping 33 lbs!!! The next three days are pretty much the same as phase two except not taking any supplements nor hormone, but still on a 500 calorie diet...the hormone needs to work itself completely out of the system before resuming a normal caloric intake. Of course, by 11 this morning I was ravenous without the appetite suppressant...It'll be just fine though since it's only three days!

Phase 4 starts Thursday in which I must eat 3 meals and 3 snacks per day...of course there's a catch: no sugar or carbs for at least 3 weeks! Sheesh...there goes the pig-out on pizza!

So, I'm hoping to drop at least a lb in the next three weigh-ins! And, who knows, maybe even get to goal weight loss...wouldn't that be exciting!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-36-37-phase-two-complete.html' title='DAY 36 & 37 ... Pancake Day

Well, day 34 saw an additional .5 loss and today, day 35, saw another 1lb loss, for a total thus far of 31.5lbs (and I didn't even have a bowl movement today...sorry TMI)!!!! And some blind bastard called me skinny today! lol...well, maybe in comparison to my fat 31.5+lbs ago! It is apparent, however, that my ass is indeed as flat as a pancake, but not quite skinny!

It's definitely time to go clothes shopping...most of my clothes are drowning me and starting to look a little ridiculous; I still look fabulous though, of course! Clearly! So anyone want to go on a spree, do let me know! We'll make a day or weekend of it! And the beauty is, I'm not drinking alcohol, so there will be no crazy, pinot-eyed purchases! ;)

Only a few days left on the diet, and while I know now that I could easy do another week to complete a 6 week program, I really am quite tired of it at this point. The weight loss has been spectacular, and I am ready to start exercising and firming up what's left! While I know 15lb more would be just fine, I'm also eager to taste cheese again! lol! Nice, burnt, crispy, drizzly cheese! Besides, I still have 3 more weeks of no carbs or sugar after I've stopped the hormone...still far off from a normal person!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-34-35-pancake-day.html' title='DAY 34 & 35 ... A Chunky MILESTONE!

On the 30th day of the diet phase of the hCG program, I am so pleased to announce I have lost 30 lbs! It's official: I am no longer obese, just fat! WooHoo!!!! And what's so amazing for me is that I am finally back in the 180's (I know it's still chunky monkey, but it's definitely an improvement)! A A A A N N N D D D D... according to Dr. Oz, with every 30lbs of weight loss, your dick looks an inch bigger! Thank you, {snap-click}!

It's a short blog, but really, what else can top 30lbs and an inch more!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-33-chunky-milestone.html' title='DAY 33 ... Not bad for 4 weeks...I get my yellow chip (or was it the blue one) Wednesday on my one month anniversary, according to my AA friends...lol...gotta love 'em!

Not sure, but I think I'm going through a bit of a lupus flare-up at the moment; I really hope the diet hasn't brought it on, although I doubt it because I've detoxified every organ in the body! Probably stress related; anyway, not much I can do about that, so fingers crossed for the best!

One week left of Phase two, then phase 3 and 4 begins...three days on no hCG but remain on the 500 calorie diet, then basically no carbs or sugars for three weeks...sheesh...am I ever going to have a Pinot Grigio again. Sorry AA buddies... I did just buy a couple of cases to be ready ;) ...and also for the Easter Party one month late that I'll be having (since we couldn't eat or drink).

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-31-32-yellow-chip.html' title='DAY 31 & 32 ... Jump Down

After a tough week and a bit of a bitch session yesterday, today I lost 2 more pounds!!!!! That brings me to 27lbs of weight loss and 8 more pounds away from my 5 week goal! It's going to be tough, but I'm determined! And, to think, I was getting despondent, and now another day of huge weight loss!!! Gotta stay focused!!! I think hydration is the key to this diet...as crazy as it may seem, the more water I drink, the more weight I lose...Yes, I pee like a banshee, but that is what keeps flushing the system!

Going to go for a long walk after work today...hopefully inside because it's just too damn hot already! What happened to Spring...I hear its in the high 80's in England today; the world is melting!

Can't believe it's Easter Sunday tomorrow already! I did buy low sodium and 99% fat-free ham for a taste of Easter...three slices only; hmmm, maybe I'll wrap asparagus and broil them and put on a bed of lettuce! Sounds like an Easter meal to remember (I'll let you know; it could be another flop like my roasted beetroot salad...ooii)!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-30-jump-down.html' title='DAY 30 ... I was really good yesterday and drank lots of water and tea, and I ate well with a 3oz chicken breast with brussel sprouts for dinner...and yet, I gained .5lb!!!!! It may be because I was so dehydrated from the day before after my little stomach vacuation! Anyway, I'm trying not to be despondent, although it's not easy! Staying focused and hoping for at least .5lb loss tomorrow!!! Still, 25lbs to date in weight loss is very good!

I spoke with a friend today who has gone through hCG diet before and lost 28lbs!!! She did the 6-week program and admitted it was a real challenge to stay on it, especially since after the diet there are three more weeks of no sugar or carbs. Apparently, this phase of the diet is critical to keeping the weight off...Lordy! It's amazing how much I yearn for bread!!!! If Wilson can do it, so can I...wait, was Wilson the football or Tom Hanks in the movie!? Either way, neither of them had bread for years!

This morning I caught a naughty needle before I jabbed myself with it...so proud...that sucker had a bent tip and was waiting to hurt me!!!! I only noticed because it wouldn't slide into the hormone bottle easily. But, still caught the bastard! Got a fresh needle with glee, pinched a fold of fat, and inserted...and the sucker still hurt! I'm such a baby...it hurt as much as pulling a hair out of my head...! Ups and Downs!

Lordy, it's been a tough week so far! I gained .5lbs on Tuesday, lost 1.5lbs on Wednesday, got sick as a dog last night (all night), but managed to not lose anything more (and trust me, my colon hasn't been this clean since Shaniqua shoved a tube up there and rinsed me out!). Even my dog threw up twice last night (yeap, on the bed...that's another story, hmmpff). Not sure if it was a little stomach thingy or my cooking...either way, not impressed, and my fat ass is drag-ging today! Today will be a rehydration day for sure...and thanks to NicholasM for the recommendation to drink more, more, more! I think he was only referring to water though...sorry Pinot, just a little longer!

I've been kinda cheating lately by adding broths and more than one vegetable to meals...it gets really boring with a platter of brussel sprouts and 3oz of meat! But, I think since my weight loss has been a little erratic lately, so I may go back to only one veg and really pay close attention to sodium intake! Mind you, gone down another buckle notch, so something good is happening!

What a pain! The injection this morning was so freakin' painful! By far the worse...I braved through all 4.5 seconds of it as a real man, though!! Yeah!! Screaming like a woman giving birth, I extracted the needle and gave it a close inspection, scolding it as my feeble eyes tried to focus on it. Yes, sir, that needle tip was splayed like Brittany Spears legs when she doesn't wear underwear! Pain explained!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-26-28-ups-and-downs.html' title='DAY 26-28 ... The 3-Week Mark

I almost reached my personal goal of 25lbs but fell short by a measly 1/2lb! Still, 24.5lbs in 3 weeks is pretty awesome! And only two more weeks to go and now have a new personal goal of a total of 35lbs!!! This is going to be a tough one, since the last week I'm really only losing 1/2lb a day, so I really need at least 5 days of 1 lb or more in the next two weeks...that could translate into a lot of walking shopping sprees at major malls throughout Florida :)!!!

My back has been spasming over the last few days so I'm not sure if my body is lacking something or I'm just over-stressed...either way, massage here we come!!!! Thank goodness I have excellent massage therapists on staff :)))))

Oh, the beet salad was horrific...too raw, and I cooked those puppies for more than 30 minutes! I think I may stick to the bottled version in the future...ooo, especially when I can toss goat cheese on top! mmm...

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-25-3-week-mark.html' title='DAY 26 ... Cooking Frenzy

Well, today is the end of the original 3 weeks of 500 calorie days, and I've lost a total of 24lbs (tomorrow morning will be the measurement of those 3 weeks). However, as you know, I've committed to another 2 weeks, so the saga will continue...lol!

Yesterday's walk around Sobe and then furniture stores definitely helped with the extra boost in weight loss...so clearly I have to go shopping again today around a large mall! Only for the walking, of course ;)! I'm really trying to hit the 25lb mark for tomorrow morning...that would be so awesome!!! Fingers crossed.

I've been a cooking hound this morning, whipping up a fabulous Tom Yum Gai, 0 fat and only about 165 calories per serving, and all cooked with organic veg, broth, and chicken! Not bad!!! I also am marinading chicken for chicken Sati (without peanuts) over a roasted beets and red pepper salad (yep, I even roasted those veg myself). Def looking forward to din-dins!

Toodle pit...off shopping, I mean, exercising...

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-25-cooking-frenzy.html' title='DAY 25 ... Organic

Another half a pound over night for a total weight loss of 23 smackeroos! I'm so pleased!

Met with Bruce from Lifeceutical Group today, and he gave me more hormone to last for another two weeks...and he, of course, encouraged me to do the extra week if I wanted to. We'll see; no pressure at this time! He was telling me about the incredible medical stuff that's coming out these days, especially Platelet Rich Plasma that is FDA approved and used in the NFL for muscle, cartilage, and tendon repair; it's basically stem cell regenerative medicine, and he'll be offering it as part of his treatments...awesome results for those with injuries! Fascinating!

Busy day down in Miami today, so dashing home for a quick nosh on left-overs...yummy! lol! Ummm, maybe even splurge with half a grapefruit too. Oh, and I've gone totally organic in all my food purchases. After reading about all the chemical crap that goes into our 'safe, inexpensive' foods and watching Jamie's Oliver's Food Revolution show (told you I was addicted to food and apparently food shows), there really is no option but to only buy organic foods...of course, my half pound of 95% fat-free, free range ground beef at $4.37 is a little hard to swallow (thanks, Whole Foods)! The alternative would be acid-washed dog food cuts of beef sold as ground chuck from Publix...yeah, I'll gladly spend the $4.37 for 1/2lb of real beef (and at those prices, I'm sure gonna have portion control)!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-24-organic.html' title='DAY 24 ... Do I or Don't I?

Down by 22.5lbs. The results have been so amazing, and the actual change in my body is so visual, I have been really humming and harring about whether I should continue the diet for another 3 weeks!!!! The hCG diet has the option of either a 23 day protocol or a 44 day protocol. Well, all things considered, even though I would just about kill for a cheesy meatball sub on a fresh, crusty baguette, the diet has been surprisingly easy to do. And...I really need to lose about 20 more lbs to be normally fat! (On a side, according to the professionals, I should be about 155lbs for my ideal weight...are they fucking kidding! If I was a twink on crack maybe!...so I'd rather be over-weight at 175lbs).

Soooooooo, I'm doing it! I've already ordered the extra hormone and supplements, and my fat ass is going for it! Now, before one faints is disbelief, I have also made a compromise with myself (and Lifeceutical Group) that I will just take another 2 weeks of stuff for now because I actually do not think I could do all 6 weeks...granted, I'll be doing 5, but that's only 2 more weeks, not a huge long-distant 3 weeks! Besides, in two weeks I could be down enough to where my moobs would have stopped jiggling (a critical measure of one's fatness)!

I did discover today that when I finish taking the hormone, I'll still be on a 500 calorie diet for 3 days!!!! Sheesh...is there any end...and what's worse, for three weeks after there is no starch! Peoples, that means no crusty bread, which means not bloody cheesy meatball sub for over a month! My Lord...for the love of balls, give me the strength to resist them!

Oh, and by the way Jacquie, since we are doing this together, ummmm, yeah, you'll also be on this for a little longer. Thanks!

And, eerhhhh, Hutchie, guess I won't really be seeing you soon after all. As the single worse bad influence in my life (although Jackson is a mighty close second), I have to refrain from being your drinking buddy for a little while longer!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-23-do-i-or-dont-i.html' title='DAY 23 ... Going to have to do better than .5lb a day!!!

I'm amazed how little I eat now to become full to the brim! I made delicious chicken kabobs (kababs for the non-Americans) last night. I did cheat a little because I am SO bored of eating just one vegetable with each meal, and everything being Asian-inspired is driving me dilly! So I added, tomato, onion, mushrooms, and bell peppers to the kabobs (like a piece of each) over a bed of grilled asparagus. Rather fancy; rather scrumptuous! After 3 little kabobs, I was stuffed! And it was still only half a chicken breast!

Nurse Jason came in on his day off to shot the vitamins in my ass...wasn't that so nice of him! Another notch!

I squeaked out a little .5 of a pound over night for a total weight loss thus far of 21.5lbs! I'm only 3.5lbs from my personal goal with five more weight-ins to go! While I'm definitely not going to continue the diet into the 6-week plan, I really could do with losing easily 15 more pounds...and the treadmill doesn't offer me any excitement! But, I'm just going to have to exercise to continue to lose more weight while paying attention to my new eating habits!

Nothing really exciting to report today, except for ... looks like I'm going down another notch on the belt! And, I definitely feel my clothes are starting to look baggy on me...loving that, and the fact that means I have to go shopping for new clothes! It's funny, I never really thought I had fat feet, but I guess so since I seem to be slipping and sliding in those too! Do me a favor; go to a gym and pick up a 20lb weight and lug that shit around all day (just half a day for my weaker friends)...you'll be amazed just how tiring it is. Ok, now do squats, run up stairs, or just a casual walk around your favorite grocery store...no wonder I looked like I was always drowning in my own sweat! And to think, I got me another one of those 20lb weights still hanging off my now-much-smaller moobs and clinging to my love handles (they ain't no love handles; they're mushy sacks of cheese) ... Cheese? Did someone say 'cheese'? Focus, Reece!

Soooo, a friend of mine from South Africa contacted me this morning. She had pretty much given up on losing weight and resigned herself to the fact she'd always be a "fat chick." Until...she starting reading this blog. She has already made an appointment to see the doc and starts the diet this weekend...isn't that awesome!!!! You can do it, my little chubblette!!!! We can start a support group: The Former Fatties! or Fatties Against Rotund Torsos...that should cause a real stink!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-18-fart.html' title='... Less is More

Today marks two weeks of being on the weight-loss portion of the diet! And, drum-roll please, a total weight loss thus far of 19 lbs! Huge, just huge! I'm about to go downstairs and grab a 20lb weight just to see exactly how heavy that really is!! Still a week to go, and I'm really going to try to reach the 25lb mark! Fingers crossed!

Since I couldn't get meatballs out of my brain since my nightmare, I figured I may as well embrace them! We all love a good ball, so why deprive myself of one now: I made Turkey Meatballs, aka Turkey Hockey Pucks! While they were clearly not as tasty as beefy balls, juicy as chicken balls, nor as spicy as my pork-filled balls, they did the job and tasted good enough to have a second meal out of them (just as well since I cooked an abundance...got balls for Africa).

Today, the second person came up to me and asked how I lost the weight so quickly...I believe I have inspired a few people to also embark on the hCG diet and get their health back in check. It is incredibly rewarding to know that my little weight journey is changing others. Very cool! And to think, if me of all people can muddle through this diet, I know anyone can...I was the one always with a glass of wine in hand with every excuse why I should have it, need it, want it; I sure am going to have wine when I'm off the diet, I'm just not going to have my own bottle, especially not with a side of wings, or a lump of meat, or that deliciously fattening fully-loaded baked potato (extra butter, cheese, and sour cream)!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-17-less-is-more.html' title='DAY 17 ... Horned Food

Another 1.5lbs since last reporting, so that's now a total of 18 pounds and tomorrow will be the 2 week measuring mark! Praying for 2 pounds just because it would be awesome to say 20 pounds, but realistically, .5-1lb should be about it!

So, had crazy dreams...it's official; I'm a food addict! Just like a crack addict dreams of crack, an alcoholic dreams of booze, I dream of food!! I woke in a flat panic thinking I had cheated on the diet!!!! After all this effort, and I cheated! No, not me! In my dream, as I was eating a deliciously saucy and cheesy meatball sub, I was also cooking a feast of a roast! The smells were incredible, so much so, that when I awoke, I thought maybe I could just eat the roast and it'll be fine; I'll still lose the weight! Lordy...what a nightmare! lol!

The good thing about only eating 500 calories (except for the significant savings on restaurants and bars), is that eating only take a few minutes and you have an abundance of time to kill! SOOO, Jacquie and I actually took the afternoon off yesterday (yeah, not planned, but I had to go home early because I forgot to take my pills and bring lunch...the memory side-effect thingy again). What were we going to do? We needed to get of the couch and walk! Too hot outside! Now what...now what, what else!!! SHOP! Armed with shopping cart, we attacked Home Goods...every possible kitchen gadget we didn't already own, four over-sized platters for major dinner parties, and storage containers for all the excess food were purchased! It was incredibly satisfying!

Do you think I'm obsessing over food???

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-15-16-horned-food.html' title='DAY 15 & 16 ... Not as Fat

A pound down...thankfully it wasn't a second day in a row with no weight loss ;) Total loss now at 16.5lbs! And, people are starting to really notice...they mention how my belly is "not as fat," how my moobs have gone, and other "flattering" complements. I actually really appreciate it...of course, still not quite ready for that thong...eewww, a just gagged a little myself!

My energy levels are back up today; strange how I've now had two days where the energy just disappeared. Mind you, with only ingesting 500 calories, I'm surprised I don't have more days with little to no energy! Memory seems to be coming back as well...at least I don't remember what I forgot, so that's good! lol! Even my mood is better; made a personal decision final yesterday, and because of that decision I feel more focused...sometimes, you just have to let a dream go; if it comes back, ok deal with it then, but if not, no expectations and no headache in the meanwhile!

Supposed to have the vitamin injection today, but the nurse has the day off so I'll just wait for tomorrow...no problemo! The bruise on my belly is substantial still! Looks like a Chris Brown job! Lordy!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-14-not-as-fat.html' title='DAY 14 ... It had to happen...

It had to happen eventually: I finally had a day with 0lbs lost :( After starving for the day, lesson here is that straying from the diet, for whatever reason, simply does not work! Nonetheless, I'm still really happy with the results! Jacquie is also doing brilliantly...we will soon be two skinny bitches!

Supposed to have driven to Tampa today to check on my house, collect keys, and crap like that, but no such luck One delay after another, and I just never managed to go in that direction...thankfully I don't have to give myself that injection though! I even prepared all meals for Jacquie and I for when I was going to be away...no problem, it's not like my fat ass ain't gonna eat them anyway!

So, woke up this morning very contemplative of the relationships I have in my life...I think I have come to the conclusion that as many wonderful, incredible friends I have, I think I have the same amount of blood-sucking, conceited, selfish douchbags. It's time to surround myself with those who appreciate me not suffocate me, who give not only take, and who add value to my life not take it away!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-13-it-had-to-happen.html' title='DAY 13 ... And down he goes!

Another successful day...can you believe another 1.5lbs!!! That's a whopping total of 15.5lbs since last Monday! Just crazy...

Had a delicious pork thing with broccoli last night, and was going to have other half for lunch today, but, one of those side effects kicked in in full force. Yeap, forgot it! So, I'm a tad freakin' hungry right now. After cups of tea I broke down and dashed to the store for some mixed fruit! It'll have to do, and I hope not too many calories (it was mainly melon, so I can't imagine that many)! Thankfully, I'm having another crazy busy day so I really don't have much time to think about food!!

Off to Tampa tomorrow for a quick visit...I just don't know how I'm going to give myself the big injection!!!!! Please, someone come with me...you can stab me in my ass!!!! Talking of stabbing, Nurse Jason had a little difficulty today: he didn't insert hard enough so half way through pulled out and then jabbed in...yeah, OMG my ass hurt! And just for clarification, I am talking about the needle (you filthy people)!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-12-and-down-he-goes.html' title='DAY 12 ... SHRINKAGE!

Last night, a dear friend came over for dinner, Ms. Gyna Hunter! And, I had the wonderful opportunity to whip up sometime tasty for her...not me or Jacquie...just her! It was so nice to smell grilled cheese in the house again! Aaahhhh! Jacquie and I had a delicious Asian-inspired pork over a green salad...I just can't seem to get the dressing right; so vinegary without sugar or oil to balance it! The best pat of the meal, however, was dessert!!!!!!!!! Yep, four fresh strawberries cut in half (so it looked like there was actually something on the plate) delicately sprinkled with stivia and lemon juice...surprisingly tasty without the Grand Manier or whipping cream!

Weight loss since yesterday is only .5 but I'm still very happy...that is 14lbs in total. I'm already only 6 lbs away from my official goal (the goal I had to realistically confess to Lifeceuticals in writing), 11 lbs from my unofficial wish-list goal, and 16 lbs from my you-gotta-be-fucking-kidding-me goal! With 13 days left on the diet I think it will be quite a challenge for the latter, although I'm going to try!!!!

Thank you to everyone who has been SO supportive!!!! It is such an incredible feeling to receive texts saying "I'm following your blog..." It's this support, and the fact I'm sick of being a Phat Fcuk (t-shirts still available), that keeps me focused on the goal...and it's only 13 days left!!!!! I also have to send a special thanks to Hutch who is single-handedly the worst influence in my life who has made every effort to keep his distance from me during this time of sobriety and diet, knowing full well that when we get together out comes the Pinot and fried food! Thanks, Hutchie...see you in two weeks!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-11-shrinkage.html' title='DAY 11 ... Scared

Saying to myself, "Think light, think light," I stepped on the scales this morning and was shocked!!!!! I had this horrible thought I had not lost anything, even worse gained weight because in the middle of the night I grabbed a glass of water to quash the hunger...oh no, was this going to throw my weight loss off for the day...water is heavy, ya'know? I stepped off the scale, turned around (yeah, not sure why either), and re-deposited myself on the scale. Shocked again, I immediately jumped off, moved the scale in case the floor was uneven and giving a false reading, and gently stepped back on...Holy cow! I lost another 2 lbs!!!!!

I've technically been on the 500 calorie intake part of the diet for 7 days with a total weight loss of 13.5 pounds...in a week! Very impressive results!!

I have been feeling rather hungry between meals and somewhat unsatisfied after dinner (which used to be my large meal of the day, and sometimes my only meal). So, I self-prescribed three-times the dosage of the appetite suppressant. To me, it made perfect sense...until...Bruce, from Lifeceuticals who is monitoring the diet, asked me if I was having any side-effects, how I was feeling, etc. I told him my energy levels are brilliant, and I seem to be so focused, especially in the morning. As a side note, I did mention the pending doom I feel in the middle of the night; I awake with chills to the bone I am so scared. yep, you guessed it, totally my fault...a side-effect of doing too much of the other drug!!! Sheesh...see what happens when you self-prescribe! Lesson learned and looking forward to a peaceful rest tonight...and maybe even a little more weight loss for tomorrow! ;)

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/saying-to-myself-think-light-think.html' title='DAY 10 ... Bopping Like a Bunny

Had the energy of a horny bunny this morning, bopping all over the house in a Spring clean frenzy! The second best side-effect of this diet is the incredible amount of energy I have...who knew life was this clear and it was this easy to do so many things (especially take down and launder drapes)!! The first best thing, of course, is the weight loss...and yep, down another pound for a total thus far of 11.5lbs! Today's weight loss will be calculated tomorrow morning when I would have been on the actual diet portion of the hCG plan for 7 full days. I think it's a HUGE weight loss in such a short period of time!

So lunch today was the chicken with cucumber...omg, totally de-lish!!!! That is definitely something I'll be having when I'm off the diet and living like normal folk! I did have to supplement that with about a gallon of water and 5 cups of tea to fill me, though! Needless to say, I've been peeing like a bunny too!

On that note...gotta pee!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-9-bopping-like-bunny.html' title='DAY 9 ... Willy in the Mirror Dilemma

So much more energy today! Everything went well from the injections to the food intake...I avoided the temptation of 'real' food, and even stepped in the Alibi for its 14th Birthday, and wasn't tempted in the slightest to indulge in a goblet or two of plonk!

My exuberance for the day may be a result of losing an additional pound, dropping me to 10.5 lbs in total weight loss! While I look in the mirror and notice only a mild change to my outward look...for example, my nose looks bigger now my face is less wide...I wonder if 20 to 25 lbs of goal-weight-loss will be enough, and should I extend my diet plan from 3 weeks to the 6-week option. Basically, if I lose my goal weight, will I be able to see my willy without the aid of a mirror!?

On a more comforting note, I prepared meals for the next three days, consisting of half chicken breasts and vegetables...brussel sprouts, steamed spinach, and pickled cucumber (I know, isn't that a creative option...thank you PF Changs and Bryan who orders them every time we go (keep your mitts off my cucumber, Grandpa)).

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-8-willy-in-mirror-dilemma.html' title='DAY 8 ... A tough one!

Even after a relatively good night's sleep, I awoke about 6 a.m. totally exhausted and starving, and still am! It may be because I forgot something important this morning...all my vitamins and appetite suppressant. Geez, I am so forgetful these days...and I even put all the portions out in advance in Dixie Cups so I wouldn't have to think about them; just swallow them!

SOOO, yesterday after I blogged, I noticed an enormous yellow, green, and purple bruise on my belly, about 3" x 2". Yeah, that bubble from the injection yesterday obviously turned into a gigantic, puke-smear over my belly! Aarrgg! And since my belly is round, you know that bruise covers some territory! Today, I started on the other side of the belly to give injections...hopefully, by the time that side is covered in bruises, the other will be healed (and I've had plastic surgery and never bruised, but one lousy little prick...).

Oh, almost forgot, I lost a measly .5 of a pound :( . Actually, I'm not sad at all; that's an incredible 9.5lbs since Monday...Awesome! And I should be especially proud of not breaking down in a bath of chocolate since I'm craving it so much...and I hardly ever eat chocolate normally! Ooo, a slice of cheesy pizza would be delicious about now! No, no, not going to...and I already prepared Asian-spiced beef (all 3 oz of it) to go over a bed of lettuce with a lemon-garlic-rice vinegar dressing (no fat and no calories).

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-7-tough-one.html' title='Day 7 ... Boppadeboop and a Bubble Later!

Yep, another 2 lbs down for a total of 9 lbs thus far! Amazing! I really am not expecting much if anything tomorrow...at this rate, I'm wasting away; AND LOVING IT! I just can't wait for my man-boobs to be a thing of the past!

So last night was another sleepless night...2:18 rolled around and I bounced awake. Reeses, my adorable pooch, just looked at me in disgusted, flopped his head down, raised it again, and clearly thought: "Fine, let me come cuddle you. I'll put you to sleep." And he perched himself in my right armpit with nostrils and that horrific breath whistling in my face. Yeah, not so much sleep after that point!

The hormone injection was a little freaky this morning...let me explain. Well, clearly by now you know I am not exactly a professional when it comes to injections! Clearly! Since I now have a few bruises on my belly from the injections (yes, it's my fault, I was told to warm it up before injecting, but I forgot), I made sure I was meticulous in the details and the steps. Boppadeboop, and it was done...and then it starting itching. I don't know what I did, but there was now a bubble under my skin and that puppy was scratching! Anyway, after about a minute of rubbing it was gone...sorry, that was awfully anticlimactic! So the bubble exploded and I lost 2 more lbs...better?

Off to have a delicious half a bell pepper stuffed with spicy ground turkey...mmmm!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/03/day-6-boppadeboop-and-bubble-later.html' title='DAY 6 ... OMG...this stuff works!

Success!!! Another 3.5lbs in one day...that's a total of 7lbs down so far...that's equivalent to one dog, Casey to be precise. Of course, I really don't expect another day like that since most of this is only water weight, but it sure is nice to see (and to feel a little flatter belly; this is, of course, relative).

I awoke about 2:30 this morning wearing my boxing gloves, feeling incredibly anxious and annoyed and a bit sad. Needless to say, that's pretty much when my day started...after four episodes of "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives," an episode of "Millionaire Listing," countless games of Backgammon and Scrabble, and other wasteful things (porn), I figured I may as well get up and face the demons of the day. Not sure whether it is the stresses of life or the introduction of all these different substances (all legal stuff, people, sheesh), but I certainly have had a streak of anger running through me. Now, that I'm at work (and just had something to eat), my mood has definitely lifted! So, I'm putting it down to the dull headache I've had on and off since starting the diet and all the good stuff that's going into me, withdrawals from Pinot Grigio (hi, my friend, miss you) and the other toxins my body was happily ingesting, as well as a lot of stress at work. In fact, I think I'll just have to have a massage today; I believe massage is part of the diet too, right! It...eerrr...helps break down the...uummm...fat! Yep!

Nurse Jason did his usual fantastic job shooting me up with vitamins, which gives me so much energy...I think I may have to talk to Brucy from Lifeceuticals about staying on the Vitamin B! A whole new clarity and focus. Brucy (he'd kill me for calling him Brucy...heehee) has been brilliant throughout this entire process; I so recommend him, Lifeceuticals, and this diet.

Well, gotta go lose weight, get a massage, drink another gallon of water, and fit some work in today!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/03/day-5-omgthis-stuff-works.html' title='DAY 5 ... Down 3.5lbs in one day certainly makes up for the gain of 2 lbs in the first two days! Of course, I understand that most of it is water weight, but still, what a wonderful loss. I'm not expecting the same result tomorrow, but a pound would be lovely! I'll let you know!

So this morning as I'm about to give the morning pregnant woman hormone injection, I noticed the needle was bent. Obviously, I straighten it as much as possible and jabbed it into my belly. OUCH! That sucker hurt...I suggest not using bent needles in the future, especially ones that you forgot to wipe the bacteria off first from your fingers straightening it! It's funny, I can run a multi-million dollar business, put on events for thousands of people, but can I remember a few basic steps in giving injections! Clearly not!

I must say my energy levels have really increased, in part because of the vitamin shots and in part because no Pinot Grigio is dragging me down. I also feel more focused at work (although looking at the mess on my desk, I'd have a hard time proving that one). And, my libido is off the charts...stand clear; I'm not responsible! I guess in summary that means I have the energy to focus on my...

DAY 3 -- and the diet truly begins

Nurse Jason came to the rescue again this morning armed with his 3" needle and (this time) the correct dosage of vitamins and minerals to shoot into my rear end. Miraculously, I didn't feel a thing! That Nurse Jason sure is a quick study! I cannot thank him enough for using me as a pin cushion in his educational sojourn!

Well, after a very successful two days of "loading", or eating as much fat as possible, the diet sure has turned to a diet! I just finished the most delictable half a chicken breast for dinner (the first half of the breast was for lunch, which would be fine if I were a breast man). Although there were moments of severe, unsatiable starvation, I can honestly say it has not been bad at all...a pang here and there, but no real cravings or yearnings for 'real' food; I haven't even craved Pinot Grigio (thank you to Jacquie for destroying the remains of the bottle in anticipation of Day 3).

I'm quite keen to see how much I weigh in the morning...I was far too diligent in the "loading" period of the diet and had gained a whopping 2lbs in two days...I'm hoping after my colon cleanse pill and daily ritual, I will have deposited a pound back by morning! And, if not, I will do my best to not let it get me down, I will stay focused on my goal, and I will continue to revel in the wonderful support I am receiving from so many people...I'll poop a pound another day!

DAY 2 ... In preparation for a 500 calorie intake

My emotions seem a little wacky today...not sure if I'm mad, upset, just fine! Am I pregnant? Moving on so I don't over-think this one, I've prepared meals for the next few days...all I have to do is grab a prepackaged meal, heat it up, gobble it down, and done! No thinking, no craving, no wanting...it's all there: lunch and dinner! Of course, we all no breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but on this diet, tea, coffee, and water is breakfast (with Master Amino, magnesium, potassium, and phendrezine). Off to buy prepackaged apple slices, the snack of champions!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/03/day-2-in-preparation-for-500-calorie.html' title='DAY 2 ... The needle is tiny (especially next to my gargantuan belly) but it was totally messing with my mind: The potential pain!!! Between the confusion of how to hold it, how quickly to insert it, the correct place where it wouldn't hurt so much, I gave up in frustration and just jabbed it into my belly and quickly squirted the hormone in...and...I'm such a woos!!!! It didn't hurt at all!!!!!!!!!!!! All that angst for nothing. SOOOO, with brave masculinity and testosterone pumped attitude I was ready for the next one!

The next one, of course, was not going to be administered by me! No, no! No way! All three inches of needle being inserted intramuscular; yeah, not happening! And, this is where Jason Jorge, who just happens to be studying towards his nursing degree, became Nurse Practitioner Jason. With knickers to my knees, he grabbed the syringe which he was concerned looked a little blunt...he was right...and jabbed it into my upper right buttock. Only a slight pinch, and Jason had successfully given his first injection ever. My butt will forever be grateful! And, with the surge of energy from all those minerals and vitamins, I'm quite sure I will be forever grateful...now, if I could just move the leg! JK! Thank you, JJ!

Off to "load" for the day with fatty deliciousness! Thinking I may just have to whip up a marvelous Roast tonight...mmmm...this diet is goooood so far!

CENTRALIZED...you mean FAT

SO ... I just met with Bruce and he gave me all meds and hormone...and about 60 needles! I look like a junkie. After explaining the step, how much to inject, where, when, what pill to take, when vitamin injections should be done, when to poop, when to have coffee, he expressed excitment in knowing that if I stick to the regamine precisely, with my body-type I should lose at least 20 lbs but probably more...

Hmmmm...body type! Of all things to immediate hone in on...body type! What does he mean. Pleasantly plump? Happy Hippo? Gorgeously rotund? No...Centralized..and proceeded to rub his belly! So I'm not really fat people, I'm centralized!

Starting tomorrow, the best part of the diet...two days of "loading". Or, becoming more Centralized! I must eat lots of fattening deliciousness, like my world-famous cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes, creamy pasta sauces, scrumptuous pizza. I'm in heaven, people!! A necessary part to the diet is to 'load' as the first two days of injections are double portions to trick the body into thinking I'm pregnant. Yep, centralized and pregnant!

Oh shit...what have I got myself into! And to make matters worse, I have Hotspots Magazine coming by the gym tomorrow to take semi-nude pics of me for an article they want to run after I've aborted my central location!

Friday... The Day Before the Diet!

In a few hours, I'll be meeting with Bruce from Lifeceuticals to receive all the stuff for the diet. I'm kind of excited, a little nervous, a little concerned, but pretty much keen on getting this thing started. I have to keep reminding myself that it is only 3 weeks of my life...no biggy, right! Of course, I just filled my belly to the brim after pigging out at J Alexanders with Jackson...and you know you don't want to eat when you are full! We'll see how I feel about the diet when my stomach's empty!

The whole point of blogging about this is accountability, although I really don't want to be reminded about it. It's strange, I know I'll need the support, but I really don't want to hear, "Well, you put it out there, so now you have to do it!" I'm doing it already, people (well, tomorrow)! So thank you in advance for your support and encouragement...I just hope I'm not a miserable bastard in the process, and if I am, I am so sorry...fat people like food, like food a lot! And depriving a fatty of it will be miserable! Remember Reece, only 3 weeks of your life!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://reecenolongerphat.blogspot.com/2011/03/friday-day-before-diet.html' title='Friday... I may be totally inappropriate, shocking, pleasant, kind, ghastly, down-right arrogant, or even plain fabulous...either way, you will get my COMPLETE honesty!

It's tough being a fat person, even a fat gym owner, moreso just being fat..your legs rub together, your moobs bounce, your second chin waddles...do I need to go on? So, this fatty is doing something about it. Starting this Saturday, March 25, I will begin the HCG diet...a pregnant woman growth hormone diet. I'll tell you more about the specifics later (when my nips lactate). Right now, I'm mentally bracing myself for the 500 calorie intake per day with daily injections; thanks to Jason, I someone on standby to jab me with my weekly B-shots (uurrgg, that I could not do...and it's not because my ass aint big enough!).

So, feel free to sign-up to follow me through my journey.
